FIMER: deaeration

DEAERATION AND SATURATION OF BOTTLES WITH NEUTRAL GAS
The deaeration turret has the task of eliminating most of the air contained in bottles via a vacuum pump and then saturating the bottle with inert gas, normally Nitrogen or CO2, thus evacuating the remaining oxygen it still contains. The whole procedure only takes place in the presence of the bottle. To perform the treatment, the bottle is positioned via star or screw feeder under the station and treatment only takes place with its presence. It is then transferred for filling, where the inert gas is released into the tank already saturated for complete protection of the product.
